| Delegation from the University of Nottingham Visits Shenyang Jianzhu University and Hosts Study Abroad Briefing |
On March 28th, a delegation of three from the University of Nottingham, led by Senior Manager of International Relations Peng Jiaying, visited Shenyang Jianzhu University for an exchange and discussion. Wei Suhua, Deputy Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office, received the delegation and provided an in-depth introduction to Shenyang Jianzhu University’s academic strengths, discipline development, and international initiatives. Wei expressed hopes that this visit would lead to diverse and deep cooperation with the University of Nottingham, particularly in engineering and visual communication design, among other key disciplines. Both parties then engaged in detailed discussions regarding specific models and areas of collaboration. Following the meeting, the delegation hosted a postgraduate program briefing for second- and third-year students at Shenyang Jianzhu University. They introduced the University of Nottingham’s master’s programs, covering aspects such as British culture and the structure of academic programs. The atmosphere was lively, with students actively participating in the discussion. The University of Nottingham, founded in 1881 and located in Nottingham, England, is a prestigious global top-100 institution and a well-known traditional British university. It is a member of the UK’s Russell Group, the UK-China University Engineering Education and Research Alliance, a founding member of Universitas 21 and the M5 University Alliance, and is part of the Sutton Trust 13 and the UK-Japan RENKEI network. The university has earned numerous accolades, including the Queen’s Award for Enterprise and the Queen’s Anniversary Prize for Higher and Further Education, both in the UK and internationally.
