Recently, Chen Lüping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Standing Committee of the Liaoning Provincial People's Congress, led a government delegation from Liaoning Province to visit Shenyang Jianzhu University’s Confucius Institute at Transilvania University of Brașov. The Romanian Director of the Confucius Institute warmly welcomed the delegation, while the Chinese Director presented a detailed report on the institute's development during the 2022-2023 academic year, as well as its upcoming goals. The report highlighted the institute’s achievements in international Chinese language teaching, the promotion of Chinese culture, and its significant role in enhancing cooperation between China and Romania. The delegation praised the institute’s efforts and affirmed that relevant departments in Liaoning Province would actively support and assist the institute in reaching its development objectives.

During the visit, the directors of the Confucius Institute accompanied the delegation to meet with Abrudan, Rector of Transilvania University of Brașov. Abrudan provided a detailed introduction to the university’s collaborative projects with Chinese universities and research institutions. He emphasized the successful partnership with Shenyang Jianzhu University, particularly the establishment of the International Joint Laboratory for Modern Construction Equipment and the Confucius Institute, which left a deep impression on the delegation.

Additionally, the delegation met with three Deputy Governors of Brașov County. Both sides held in-depth discussions on economic, cultural, and tourism cooperation between Liaoning Province and Brașov County, reaching a consensus on enhancing future exchanges and collaboration.
